Warriors vs. Raptors Game 1 result: Pascal Siakam powers Toronto roll past Golden State for NBA Finals Game 1 win
The Raptors got their first NBA Finals appearance off to a perfect start with a 118-109 win over the Warriors in Game 1 on Thursday. The game, in many ways, was not as close as that score would indicate. Toronto were the better, more aggressive team in just about every facet. They got the surprise performances an underdog needs -- 52 combined points for Siakam and Gasol. They smothered Golden State on defense, particularly Curry, even though he still wound up with 34 points.

Pascal Siakam was a standout for the Raptors, scoring 32-points on 14-of-17 shooting. Siakam started the game 2 for 4 from the floor, then hit his next 11 shots before finally missing with 55 seconds remaining in the game.
Pascal Siakam, Kawhi and Gasol combined for 75 of Raptors' 118 points. Four of Toronto's five starters scored in double figures. VanVleet proved to be a reliable option off the bench, pouring in 15 points.
